Young Global Business Leaders

In October 2018, Culture Bridge hosted the Young Global Business Leader case competition finals with several notable guest judges, including BCG Australia and New Zealand Managing Partner, Andrew Clark; and Executive Director at the Department of Education, Gene Reardon.

The 2018 and 2019 Bridge Panel Events

Culture Bridge hosted two panel events discussing and debating the importance of culture in Australia and the worlds of Business and Education.  

In May 2018, Culture Bridge's first Bridge Panel event provided students the opportunity to listen to experts discuss and debate these issues. Our panelists included Andrew Clark (BCG Managing Partner Australia and New Zealand), Helen Sawczak (CEO of Australia China Business Council) and Mona Cheung (Bi-cultural business expert).

In September 2019, Culture Bridge hosted its second flagship Bridge Panel. Our panelists included Andrew Clark (BCG Managing Partner Australia and New Zealand), Vick Pillay (Managing Director of Mind Tribes) and Samantha Marangell (Associate Lecturer in Higher Education at the Melbourne CSHE)

Departments

  • Research: a platform for analysis and research on challenges and opportunities for cross-cultural interaction within Australia
  • Higher Education: evidence-based solutions, advising Australian universities on how to improve cross-cultural student interaction
  • Public Policy: advise governments and policy makers with insightful and practical solutions to cross-cultural challenges

Aims

  1. Act as a forum where Australian multicultural challenges can be discussed 
  2. Undertake research and provide solutions and recommendations to promote greater multicultural inclusion in Australia 
  3. Advise Australian Universities on how to improve cross-cultural student interaction 
  4. Host events to promote public understanding of cross-cultural issues and bring together people from diverse cultures and backgrounds
  5. ​Provide insightful and comprehensive information to the public on issues of cross-cultural integration and inclusion
