Young Global Business Leaders (YGBL) Program ​

The Young Global Business Leaders is an enrichment program that aims to bring together international and domestic students in teams to work together on a project throughout the semester. The program aims to celebrate the importance of cross-cultural collaboration in global business and looks to celebrate the diverse cohort within Australian universities.

Culture Bridge established a flagship case competition program for 100 students from different cultures
  • Over 300 students applied for 100 positions
  • The program consists of opening and closing events with guest speakers as well as workshops and seminars on cross-cultural skill development and collaboration
  • 25 teams are formed from the 100 students, with 20 teams submitting final case presentations
  • 4 teams presented their findings on solutions to cross-cultural challenges to a panel of esteemed judges and a public audience
  • Engaged with leading industry CEOs and partners

The Bridge Panel event 

Culture Bridge hosted two panel events discussing and debating the importance of culture in Australia and the worlds of Business and Education.  

Culture Bridge hosted a panel discussion in May 2018 with the following experts:
  • Andrew Clark (BCG Managing Partner Australia and New Zealand)
  • Helen Sawczak (CEO of Australia China Business Council)
  • Mona Cheung (Bi-cultural business expert)
The panel debated the importance of culture in Australia and in the world of business.

Culture Bridge hosted a second panel discussion in September 2019 with the following experts: 
  • Andrew Clark (BCG Managing Partner Australia and New Zealand)
  • Vick Pillay (Managing Director of Mind Tribes)
  • Samatha Marangell (Associate Lecturer in Higher Education at the Melbourne CSHE)
