Devanshi ParikhDIRECTOR
Devanshi is a second year Master of Management student at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Marketing. Coming from a country where every seven miles there is a sociocultural change, and her quadrilateral exposure in India, have made her realize the passion and instinctive fondness for diversity and culture. Apart from being the Director at Culture Bridge, she actively volunteers at organizations aimed at driving engagement among international students in Australia. Having worked in the educational & cultural travel sector previously combined with her experience of working in the biggest international experimental township of Auroville, she realised the power of unity as well as the importance of cross-cultural integration at a global scale.

Josh is a final year undergraduate student studying a Bachelor of Commerce and majoring in Economics and Finance. As the son of an Australian and a first-generation immigrant, he understands the benefits of global-mindedness. Since joining the University of Melbourne he has witnessed the impacts of inadequate interaction in tutorials, lectures and extra-curricular activities, and joined Culture Bridge after completing the YGBL program with an aim to instil positive change within the university. Josh has a passion for social impact in a variety of
environments and will be heading into economics consulting at Aither in 2020. |
Ben BurgessCO-FOUNDER
Ben is a fourth year Bachelor of Commerce student at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Economics and Finance with a Diploma in Software Development. Having studied at Peking University, Ben has an appreciation for other cultures and believes that Australia must embrace its multiculturalism as a strength moving forward. Ben also believes that solutions to global challenges will only result when nations and cultures comes together to look for creative solutions. To this end, Ben has co-founded Culture Bridge, hoping that it will provide a platform for universities and other institutions to develop the cross-cultural competencies of their members and relationships between them.
